A rare forest. A heritage railway. A different way to live.
In one of Chile's oldest villages, two tiny houses, a shared garden and a natural pool are being built around an idea — creating a place where time feels different.

THE PLACE
One of only five Mediterranean ecosystems on earth.
The valley sits inside a sclerophyllous forest—shared with California, South Africa, Australia, and the Mediterranean basin. Much of this native sanctuary has disappeared; what remains here still shapes the landscape around it.
A heritage railway line borders the property. The path along the tracks is always there—long, quiet, and worth every step.
